JoshPraise has been into music for a long time, he started singing at the age of 9 before he joined the adult choir at the age of 14 at sango otta Ogun state
Joshpraise is from Nsukara offot, Akwa Ibom state, where he finished his secondary school. His parents gave birth to two children and he is the second child and he has an elder sister. He was born and brought up in Sango Ota Ogun state.

JoshPraise is a worshipper and has written over 20 gospel songs but recorded just one (Faithful) a song in which he featured another Gospel artiste Lizzy.
